I want to share the training i have received in understanding and implementing use of TA’s in a classroom to get positive AFL and excellent behavior management where everyone especial SEN and Eal guided groups and individuals enjoying learning. Teaching assistant make the difference between productive classroom learning and not so much learning. A teacher who can built rapport with the classroom teaching assistant can make great difference to the students learning because a teaching assistant who is prepared for every single lessons can help SEN and EAL students and individuals to reach their goals and learning objective each lesson. A teaching assistant who acknowledges the goals of the lessons, will be more encouraged and confident about helping the students, therefore making progress where its most needed. I would advice teachers and teaching assistants to arrange meeting before any lesson together to discuss and preparation of what is needed or how the teaching assistant work with students to meet the goal required for the lessons. This way the teaching assistant can focus on ensuring that students have understood their work and reached their target for the lessons.
